Verdi attended the Desert Sun School from 1964 to 1965. Single mother of three -- two sons, one daughter -- and grandmother of one. Time spent now as a Leimert Park Poet, self-published and performing at various venues throughout the city, gatherings, festivals and universities locally. Currently promoting a "Live Anthology", Angels in the Village-performing with three other phenomenal poets. A healing and soul tapping, spirit evoking show filled with love and care and music of the Djembe and wind instruments -- directed at the memory of ancestors and how their care keeps us even now.
