Ron plays bass in the Jimmy Burns Blues Band in Chicago. Previously, he played keyboards and sang with Gray Matter, whose music is available at Jim Hawkins website sounddreams.net. Ron has also worked as a respiratory therapist for twenty years. He's married and has six children. Ron recorded "When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth" with Jim Hawkins at his studio, which was rejected by Dr. Demento. Ron attended Desert Sun School from 1970 to 1974.
