Curtis attended Desert Sun School/TEPPS from 1985 to 1987. He recently sent in this update: "After a good run in the Internet Lottery *Ahem* I mean industry, Curtis ran away to join the Pirate Circus in 2000, otherwise known as Burning Man's "stage crew," the Black Rock City Department of Public Works. In 2003 he met Carrie Carden and they were wed at Burning Man in 2004. They now have two children, a boy and a girl. Lazlo was born in October of 2005 and Linnaea was born in February of 2008. They have a small home based tech and office support business for which they do contract work for Burning Man and other local outfits (cattle ranches, a trucking outfit, & a small Country Club) in extremely rural Northern Nevada."
